This is the position
Reporting to Director, Delivery, you will be a key member of a diverse, international and highly competent Tech Delivery team based in our HQ in Copenhagen on Strandgade, Christianshavn. Along with the team, you will be working on exciting projects with global and strategic impact. As a Lead Business Analyst, you will provide a common thread between the business and IT, always ensuring that solutions meet business requirements. You will work closely with tech, digital and business teams, to implement process and systems change throughout the company within Merchandise planning, Supply chain and ERP domains.
Job purpose
On a day-to-day basis, you will be assigned to one of our strategic cross-functional program teams, working alongside project managers, solution architects, test managers and relevant business functional leads, responsible for implementing new systems to support business goals as well as continuous development of our current systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading 1 analyst and you will play a pivotal role in shaping the business analysis function, by establishing a strong business analysis practice and fostering a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements and specifications to drive solution design and delivery
- Map Current and Future state processes, ensuring holistic understanding and optimization, identifying operational pain points and improvements
- Champion effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout projects
- Create test conditions, drive and participate in testing activities to validate requirements and ensure quality assurance and solution integrity
- Provide hands-on support during project go-live and transition phases
- Work with the business teams to help shape their target operating model and build a comprehensive change implementation plan
- Support program manager in maintaining the program backlog, assessing the potential value of new initiatives and prioritising them in line with our strategic goals.

Your background includes leading or mentoring business analysis teams and establishing standardized and effective business analysis practices.
Your Qualifications
- Naturally analytical and detail oriented
- Skilled at problem solving, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving change
- Pragmatic in delivering solutions that balance time, cost, and quality considerations
- Expert in process mapping & business process re-engineering
- Proficient in defining clear and concise business requirements
- Adept at translating between business and IT requirements to ensure alignment in solution design
- Highly competent in facilitating workshops, interviews, requirements discovery sessions
- Experienced in end-to-end project lifecycle, with exposure to agile and waterfall methodologies
- Flexible and able to think laterally to find solutions
Other
- In-depth knowledge of the retail industry and business operations, with prior experience as a business analyst in a retail setting
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Merchandise Planning or ERP.
- Proficiency in tools such as Visio and Azure Dev Ops
- Previous experience of people leadership
- Write and speak English fluently
