GLOBAL LEAN DIRECTOR
Struers in Ballerup

Set a clear LEAN direction across the organisation
As the new Global LEAN Director, your main objective will be to foster a strong LEAN culture across the organisation. You will be responsible for LEAN concepts and tools worldwide, ensuring that these are continually developed and implemented across Struers.

More specifically, your key tasks include:

• Overseeing the daily operations and leadership of your team
• Ensuring deployment of LEAN concepts and tools worldwide
• Supporting Corporate Management in strategy deployment and execution of the corporate strategy, using business transformation tools such as Hoshin Kanri and Playing2Win
• Facilitating workshops to improve business processes, and acting as a LEAN coach and project manager
• Preparing LEAN training sessions in our LEAN academy, e.g. training all managers in LEAN Leadership

You will travel approximately 1 to 2 months a year, visiting business units across the globe, doing project work and cooperating with local management.

A true LEAN mindset and a solid LEAN toolbox
You have a thorough understanding of leadership principles and can manage, facilitate, and organise workshops and meetings. You know how to collaborate with top management and understand business value creation. This, along with your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with clarity and assertiveness, enables you to build trust in your relationships and positions you as a trusted advisor.

It is also vital that you master the art of conceptual thinking and understand complex business processes. Additionally, we imagine that you:

• Have a bachelor's or master’s degree, e.g. in business or a technical area
• Have experience from a similar role, ideally having operated in a global setting
• Have experience with LEAN implementation and a proven record translating theoretical concepts and LEAN principles into business results
• Have experience in strategy deployment, change, and project management
• Speak and write English effortlessly

Your personality will be a key factor for success and should include the following:

• A leader with high energy and “fire in your eyes”
• Proactive, a self-starter and self-directed
• A “doer” and ”hunter” personality
• Very strong oral and written communication skills – and very strong in working with stakeholders
• Curious, but at the same time structured, organised and systematic
• Understands strategy, but more tactical and operational in your working style
• Analytical skills; able to think conceptually and understand complex business processes
