Operations Executive - Energy Ports & Project

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and agile person to join our projects team in Singapore in this additional role as an Operations Executive. You will play a pivotal role in managing the logistics of project shipments for our clients from start to finish.

Your Role

• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics of projects shipments including documentation
• Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods from the origin to the destination as per scope of work provided by the Project Manager
• Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and processes
• Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies and other service providers to ensure shipment are transported safely and efficiently
• Monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to customers
• Address and resolve operational issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintaining operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction and provide service quality as per Blue Water standards.
• Travelling to meet clients, or overseeing operations in various locations globally when required.
  

Your Background

• Min. 2 years of relevant work experience in heavy cargo or out-of-gauge operations, logistics, or project management, preferably in project freight forwarding.
• Familiarity with specialized vessels and equipment, such as MPP/heavylift vessels, deck carriers, semi-subs, multi-axle trailers and self-propelled modular transporters, as well as a working knowledge of customs procedures for oversized cargo, are preferred.
• Possess a solid understanding of transportation regulations, particularly those related to oversize and heavy haul shipments
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are crucial for coordinating complex over dimensional cargo movements.
• Ability to manage various operations simultaneously, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
