Job description
For our customer EUMETSAT located in Darmstadt, we are looking for a Quality Assurance to support the Process Assurance and Management Support Division (PRS), in the context the Administration Department.

The mission of the Administration Department is to plan and to manage the financial and human resources needed by EUMETSAT, to oversee adherence to the organization’s regulatory framework, to manage the procurement process and to provide and maintain the necessary site infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Your tasks will typically include but are not limited to:

  • Review and update departmental working practices and other documentation to ensure they are up to date, aligned with higher level documentation of the EUMETSAT Management System.
  • Contribute to the process improvement activities, supporting the preparation of:
    • Departmental Performance Reviews of the Administration Department (elaboration of KPIs, definition of improvement actions with related process pilots, draft presentation for Management Review Meeting, actions management and follow-up).
    • Process Reviews with the process pilots to ensure that each EMS “support process” reaches the expected objectives, continues to be consistent with business needs and internal best practices, (analysis of process changes/evolution draft presentation, actions management and follow-up).
  • Provide quality assurance service to specific projects run by the Administration Department.
  • Participate to internal quality audits and internal audits as Audit Guide and supervise the audit follow-up activities (support the auditees in the analysis and reply to the findings, monitor the status of findings and related improvement actions).
  • Support the preparation of ISO audit.
  • Capability to support the activities related to Health and Safety management System.
  • Support the preparation of the Risk Management Boards.

This is a full-time position, located at one of Terma locations in Europe.

Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory, as English is the working language.

The variety of the tasks and the scope of the systems to be supported require a high degree of autonomy and good analytical skills together with the ability to effectively cooperate within the team.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • University degree or equivalent (preferably a discipline relevant to the field of business administration) and/or relevant experience in Administration processes (HR, Finance, Procurement, etc…).
  • Knowledge of quality assurance/management processes
  • Professional work experience (at least 5 years) in a position related to quality assurance or in administrative processes in large and complex organisations.
  • Knowledge of QA auditing and/or process assessment.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management methodology.
  • Very good organizational and planning skills and ability to liaise with different team
  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
