Line Manager (People Manager) and IT Solution Architect

We are looking for a Line Manager (People Manager) to lead and grow our team of IT Infrastructure Solution Architects/Customer Architects. This role is split equally, with 50% of your time as an IT Solution Architect and 50% as a People Manager.
Responsibilities
As a Line Manager:
- Lead and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage HR processes such as performance management, compensation, benefits, feedback, and retention.
- Foster a team environment with open communication and collaboration.
- Provide honest feedback to help employees improve their performance.
- Set clear performance expectations and hold individuals accountable.
- Recognize and appreciate staff contributions.
As a Solution Architect:
- Act as a trusted advisor on customer projects.
- Design IT infrastructure solutions across the technology stack.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time with the right technical design and quality.
- Hand over completed projects to the Operational team with necessary documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2+ years in a people manager/team leader role.
- Experience managing large IT enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership skills and knowledge of performance metrics.
- Excellent people skills with empathy and motivational abilities.
- Proactive and collaborative approach.
- Ability to work independently with a strong personal drive.
- Ability to influence central decision-makers.
- Knowledge and experience with ToGAF standards in IT architecture (certification is a plus).
- Experience in the IT outsourcing business.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage team workload by setting clear goals, deadlines, and allocating resources.
- Create an open team environment by motivating team members, listening to feedback, and resolving conflicts.
- Help to improve team members’ performance, recognize high performance, and reward accomplishments.
- Together with HRBP, ensure adherence to required HR processes (performance management, compensation & benefits management, retention, annual organizational review, etc.)
- Design and execute IT infrastructure, defining milestones and detailed planning.
- Establish scope, structure, and manage risks and issues.
- Communicate and report at all relevant levels, both with customers and internally within Aeven.
- Ensure good cooperation with other Aeven delivery centers (Denmark and the Philippines)
Your Team:
Consists of IT Architects within two sub-teams: IT Infrastructure Solution Architects and Customer Architects. Currently has 9 members, with plans to double in size within nine months. It is a global team.
