HR Manager - Turkey

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead our HR operations at our Turkish office in Istanbul. This role is integral to our company’s growth and success, ensuring the well-being of our employees, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with our global HR practices.

This is a newly created position and you will therefore have the opportunity to help develop the position in collaboration with our Managing Director and great support from our global HR.

Your key responsibilities will be:
HR Overall:

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, fostering a safe work environment.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Implement and manage employee satisfaction surveys in collaboration with HR global.
  • Oversee training programs, ensure adherence to global policies, and promote company values.
  • Creating and managing the HR budget.
  • Leading payroll and personnel processes.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Reviewing, updating and providing support on HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain current, compliant and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Work with the Managing Director and department managers on budgeting and salary adjustments as well.

HR Recruitment:

  • Create job ads, manage and rate applicants using the Talentech system.
  • Screening candidates by identify and present the best candidates to managers.
  • Interviews by coordinate and conduct interviews with you and managers.
  • Administer tests to candidates, primarily for managerial positions, in conjunction with HR global.
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts on all levels.
  • Ensure compliance with new regulations from authorities.
  • Develop and implement onboarding plans, set up new employees in systems, and announce new hires in organization etc.
  • Provide sparring and coaching to managers.
  • Employee Well-being by manage sickness, stress, and other employee health issues.

HR “In Between”:

  • Establish and continue the trust and understanding within the team.
  • Be the “go-to” person for managers and team leaders, fostering joy and positivity in the workplace.
  • Serve as the “glue” that binds the organization together.
  • Enhance communication within the organization.
