The job
You will play an important role in making improvements to existing equipment, and in our journey towards operation roadmap completion, where new equipment and new production methods will take up a larger part of your everyday calendar. You will also be responsible for:
- Our production and production facilities to be aligned to legislation within ATEX, ensure compliance with the Machinery Directive, perform hazard and functional analysis (HAZOP), CE approvals, Implementation according to legislation.
- Together with your collegues in Production Engineering & Support and our Production team identify gaps and recommend and implement improvements on our production equipment, prioritized by Sustainability (Safety), Quality, Delivery or Cost initiatives.
- Project Planning & Resource Allocation: Define project scope, allocate resources, and set timelines using Alfa Laval’s stage-gate project model; PROMAL.
- Budget & Timeline Management: Control project costs and ensure deadlines are met.
The position is based in Nakskov, Denmark and we expect the travel activity to be approximately 10 days a year.
Who you are
We need an experienced Project Manager with experience from design and manufacturing of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Automation, chemical engineering etc. You are eager to help Alfa Laval to stay in compliance and to look forward into our operations roadmap and prepare and run projects. Furthermore:
- You strive to be part of maintaining and creating a safe work environment and contribute positively to influence for change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to convey ideas, updates, and decisions to stakeholders and team members.
- Efficient in managing project timelines and ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- You are a person with hands-on, result-driven attitude and a good prioritizing skill.
- Attention to Detail. Keen eye for details to ensure nothing critical is overlooked in planning or execution.
- You are a team player and have high integrity and can create confidence with people across the organization.
- As part of a global organization writing and speaking English at a professional level is a must.
