As our new Senior Compliance Manager, you will be part of our Compliance team, reporting to Måns Österlund, Head of Compliance. The team works across Copenhagen and Stockholm and strives to prevent, detect, and follow up on compliance risks, including being actively engaged in the business to provide guidance and advice. For this role, we see you located in our Flagship office in Copenhagen.
What will you do?

• Lead and drive compliance initiatives across key areas of general banking regulation, including governance and consumer protection
• Ownership of the Compliance team’s work in Lunar regarding data protection
• Ensure our operations align with the latest regulatory standards and best practices.
• Monitor and assess compliance risks, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations
• Plan, execute and report on compliance activities
• Being closely engaged with the business to have insights into processes and promote a culture of compliance
• Function as a sparring partner in all things related to compliance within the selected areas
• Able to see the results of the work you do and the impact it has

• 5+ years’ experience in Danish banking law and regulation, governance, and compliance within the financial sector, preferably in a bank, the FSA, or a similar institution.
• Relevant experience in the area from either the 1st or 2nd line, such as compliance, legal, or equivalent roles in a relevant field.
• Strong expertise in Danish banking law and regulation.
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder, with fluency in both English and Danish.
• Adaptable in a growing environment, continuously finding new and better ways to operate.
• Independent, able to make decisions and drive compliance projects while working with supportive colleagues and specialists.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Norwegian legislation related to the mentioned area (not required but a plus).
