ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer with at least 4 to 6 years of experience in Security products like Data Leakage Prevention (DLP), Web Security (Proxy), Data Protection, CASB, Endpoint DLP, Data Classification, and EDR. You will be part of our Global Shared Services Technology team to provide hands-on technical and tactical expertise to a Global team of dedicated security engineers focused on maintaining operational stability while reducing risk. You will work with a team of experienced IT professionals who are passionate about their work. You are excited to join a diverse, cross-functional team that collaborates globally
WHAT YOU WILL DO AND HOW YOU WILL GROW
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) and Web security policies and procedures to prevent the unauthorized transfer, sharing, or theft of sensitive data.
- Monitor DLP and Web Filtering systems to analyze alerts.
- Work to mitigate the risk and minimize the impact of a security incident on the organization.
- Provide L1, L2 support for Endpoint DLP suite & Secure Web Gateway.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the solutions, including policy configuration, network integration, and system performance.
- Perform periodic reconciliations to ensure 100% solution coverage.
- Publish DLP reports/Dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as legal, compliance, HR, and Audit teams to ensure that data protection policies and procedures align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide employees with training and awareness about data protection policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that DLP & Web filtering policies and procedures are followed and identify areas for improvement.
- Improve DLP & Web Filtering systems continuously by reducing false positives and adding new rules to keep up with evolving threats and changing business needs.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field provides a strong foundation
- Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH),will be a plus.
- Hands-on experience in implementation and managing DLP/Web filtering/EDR/ CASB solution
- Good knowledge of Data protection technologies
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ethical, with the ability to remain impartial and report all non-compliances
- Assessing the effectiveness of people initiatives, using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement
- Understanding retention challenges and developing creative retention strategies across cohorts and departments
- Designing, administering, and analyzing our employee engagement survey to help inform, develop, and implement broader people priorities to improve employee satisfaction that are aligned with broader business objectives.
