The position
As a Technical Lead for AP Automation at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Oversee resource responsibility for AP Automation standardization (GMP, Formulation, Filling, Inspection, Wash & Sterilisation, Clean Utilities and more).
  • Provide input for procurement and handle technical clarifications before and during execution, prepare and participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning.
  • Conduct competency mapping and develop plans for automation engineers, including setting up relevant training.
  • Align best practices across AP Automation disciplines/work packages.
  • Manage stakeholders and develop strong relationships with Future Standards counterparts.
  • Build partnerships with external vendors.

You will be part of an ambitious, global, and exciting automation program and crave to enable shopfloor value with new, scalable and sustainable automation technologies.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation/Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Computer, Information and Communication Technology, or similar.
  • Some project management experience and the ability to engage with stakeholders from diverse areas and backgrounds to co-create solutions that drive value to the company.
  • Significant experience in industrial automation projects (experience with greenfield projects is a plus).
  • Expertise in SCADA/PLC/MES environments, communication protocols (OPC UA, IO-link, MQTT, Profibus, Profinet), OT/IT architectures, cybersecurity best practices, and tools to structure industrial data (databases, namely SQL).
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

DD&IT PS – Fill & Finish Expansions is a program organisation built in a multi-dimensional matrix structure designed to foster cross-organisational and cross-functional collaboration to shape our future. Our goal is to design and build future-proof, global fill & finish production facilities, with a focus on establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable these facilities to digitally evolve. As a member of our department, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for processes and engineering, as well as various technology partners both internally and externally.
