About the job
The ideal candidate is a project controller with a keen interest in supporting capacity expansion projects in the pharma and biotech industry as a consultant. Experience in pharma CapEx projects is advantageous, but candidates with similar experience from other industries are also very attractive to us, as they can bring new know-how and approaches to our pool of competencies.

Your role
Your specific role and assignment in the projects will typically match your competencies and skill level, as well as your potential for development. Examples of assignments could be senior project controller, controls lead or senior advisor. We work for all the major pharma and biotech companies in Denmark and occasionally for subsidiary companies in Western Europe.

Your role will involve responsibilities such as:

• Collecting and analyzing cost estimates from project leads, suppliers, and contractors to ensure optimal cost estimating processes across project participants
• Refining and maintaining budget structures and cost work breakdown structures
• Refining and maintaining project control systems and dynamic reporting tools
• Financial project reporting to stakeholders, including colleagues in the project, steering committees, and boards
• Involvement in invoicing processes and other finance / accounting activities
• Possible involvement in procurement process development and maintenance
• Possible involvement in contract management

We are looking for
A project controller with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field for support function
• Master’s degree in relevant field (not required)
• +5 years of Project Controls experience, preferably from large complex building projects
• Project Controlling experience from a Project Owner perspective is preferred
• Fluent in Danish and English
• Strong communication- and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent excel skills
• Having a go-do attitude and ability to navigate in a complex project setting
• Knowledge of project execution- and finance systems is relevant
• Understanding the controlling lifecycle and interfaces with company accounting
