Your role and responsibilities

If you have a solid electrical background and are motivated by a combined role as both a project manager and executor, we have a really cool job ready for you. You will be part of our highly experienced and competent project management team in the Fredericia office. As a project manager, your basic focus is to deliver high quality solutions, at agreed price and within budget. The products are advanced protection relays and control, management and monitoring systems with associated services, and the customers are all the big players. In addition, you will be involved in analysing the customer's plant and then going home to specify the solution/set up possible solutions. You will take the dialogue with the customer get adjusted and then manage it afterwards. You can look forward to being part of a company that is a great place to work. Work with Project Management / Medium voltage product / Engineering Electrification Distribution Solution (ELDS) deals with: • Primary and secondary, air and gas insulated medium voltage switchgears • Protection relays, DSO and SCADA for medium voltage range • Systems and solutions You will be mainly accountable for: • Classic A-Z project management of projects based on single contract or frame agreements • Working with enduser, engineering consulting, contractors, as and technical engineer at ABBs factories • You are responsible for the project execution and act as a link between end customer, enduser, engineering consulting, contractors, sales, ABB production and local ABB units. • You will maintain and expand customer relationships and ensure consistent customer satisfaction • Participation in customer and factory meetings regarding clarification of their needs • Ensure quality and deliverables within agreed deadlines from tender to delivery • Create a good teamwork with ABB production facility – minimize your time spend related to budgets and economy in general • Create and manage project plans, follow-up and coordinate activities within factory and customers • Secure customer approvals doing the project execution • Participate in Factories Acceptance Test with customer • Responsible for site installation and customer handover • Support the sales team as technical expert

Qualifications for the role

• Education as electrical engineer, mechanical engineer or similar and at least 2 years of experience in project management/coordination.
• Ability and motivation to deliver projects in close collaboration
• At the same time, you possess a calm and positive belief that there is always a solution – so if you face adversity, just try another way.
• Professionally, you have knowledge of protection relays and control systems, but deep knowledge at specialist level is not a requirement.
• You know that the key to success lies very much in the ability to ensure proper alignment of expectations, including clarification of tasks. You can therefore also identify and minimize potential risks in a project/contract. If you don't have the technical insight yourself, younmanage to use your technical colleagues as sparring partners as well.
• Desire and ability to proactively drive dialogue with customers and colleagues
• An excellent listener - and you know that the best solutions come through collaboration and knowledge sharing with respect for others' ideas
• Ability to think outside the box and try out new ideas
• A desire to learn new things
