Do you want a responsible and unique position in an innovative company where you can combine a leading sales role with your hands-on approach and passion for technology? As VP of Global Sales at Asetek, you will join a market-leading company with a strong international presence and a particular focus on quality and innovation. You will have an influential role where you will be a pivotal and crucial player in the continued growth of the company, and where you will be responsible for driving both strategic development and ensuring execution on a global scale.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading the company’s sales organisation consisting of 10 employees in Denmark, USA and Taiwan. Among other things, you perform the following duties:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to ensure growth, profitability and strengthen Asetek’s position in the market
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key customers and partners
  • Develop and follow up on sales team KPIs and performance
  • Responsible for forecasting to predict sales and future revenue streams
  • Identify and execute on new market opportunities and develop the company’s go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate with the board and executive management team on sales performance and strategic initiatives

To be considered, you must have solid experience in a similar international and hands-on sales role and be adept at forming long-term customer relationships. Experience selling in an OEM environment, ideally within the PC market segment in Taiwan, as well as through e-commerce and traditional retail channels, is required. Additionally, experience selling to a similarly complex and international market is essential. Your ability to motivate and lead a team, combined with your analytical and strategic skills, will be crucial in driving results and achieving success

In this role, you should be prepared for up to 100 annual travel days, which will mainly involve travelling to Asia and the US. It is therefore a requirement that you are especially used to travelling in Asia and have done business with the Chinese and/or Taiwanese.

You speak and write English at a high level and have excellent IT skills, including experience with both Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.

You are resident in Denmark.

As a person, you are independent and hard-working, and you are outgoing, trustworthy and persistent by nature, which enables you to identify and build good relationships with key customers. You also thrive in a hands-on leadership role where you lead by example and are able to motivate employees to achieve results – even from a distance. You possess a keen analytical and strategic sense that allows you to navigate complex situations and make the right decisions. Your structured approach and overview ensures that you continuously follow up on tasks and initiatives, ensuring execution and progress.
