About the job
Do you want to have a central role in an international organization, where you will be challenged with a wide range of tasks within finance? As the new Head of Group reporting, you will be part of KMD’s journey towards optimizing existing and new processes in the Accounting and Controlling function with your strong professional skills.
As Head of Group Reporting, reporting to the VP of Accounting and Controlling, you will have the responsibility of developing a team of engaged and skilled employees, currently five FTE´s. Group reporting has a central role regarding internal reporting, consolidation, forecasting and CSDR.
Your tasks include:
• Month-end and year-end-closing including consolidation in SAP Group Reporting
• Securing compliance with IFRS and local GAPP
• Preparation of accounting memo and local financial statements
• Responsible for Internal and External Audit
• Being trusted partner towards key stakeholders
• Develop, maintain and drive efficient processes on group level
• Develop the Group reporting team
• Optimization of P&L and cash flow forecast process
• Ensuring transparent and timely reporting to our owners NEC e.g J-sox reporting
• CSRD reporting in close co-operation with our external advisors
The role is rooted in the Finance department, where we have strong focus on being compliant within several areas and focus on doing our compliance tasks most efficient e.g. by using new technologies.
You should also expect to build strong relationships with many stakeholders working with reporting such as our global owners, the NEC Corporation, and internal stakeholders in the business and in back-office functions.
In other words, KMD offers a unique opportunity to help shape KMD's further development within Finance.
About you
To succeed in the position, it is necessary that you have a strong understanding of accounting standards, SAP S4 and SAP group reporting, have great data management skills and insight in audit processes.
You have project management skills enabling you to lead and drive cross-functional projects such as implementation of CSRD requirements or implementation of internal procedures, and great communication skills to engage with all stakeholders in that process.
You most likely have a master’s degree in finance, accounting or auditing, or a related field (a master’s degree is a plus) and proven experience of +5 years in a corporate finance function preferably within the tech industry.
Most importantly, we are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who thrives in a position where transparency and optimization is the focus.
We expect you to be responsible with a natural authority and impact, and that you have a particularly high level of personal integrity. You must be used to working at all levels of an organization and communicate accurately. In addition, you show independent initiative, commitment, decisiveness and have a good overview.
