Local Content Coordinator

Join us in this role where you’ll support, coordinate and validate the local content reporting process, engage with suppliers and a variety of internal and external stakeholders to collect and verify local content forecasts, and facilitate accurate reporting to meet the organization's commitments and regulatory requirements for the US Offshore Wind projects.

You’ll be part of the offshore Americas procurement team where you, together with your colleagues, will engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely local content reporting. Our team supports each other and focuses on continuous improvement through open collaboration and trust. You’ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for local content reporting and compliance for the US Offshore Wind projects. Our team collaborates closely with suppliers, internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and drive local economic benefits in the US States. As a team, we conduct deep dives, produce monthly reports, ensure data quality, work smart with tools, anticipate issues, plan, understand stakeholder expectations, and protect Ørsted's interests firmly and fairly.
You’ll play an important role in:
- engaging with suppliers to collect and verify local content reports, documentation, and forecasts specific to the US Offshore Wind Projects.
- facilitating timely identification and resolution of reporting and data quality issues.
- maintaining and updating an overview of key procurement contracts containing local content.
- informing commercial managers, package managers, and relevant stakeholders of local content reporting issues and providing status updates.
- ensuring alignment with contractual plans and reporting requirements.
To succeed in the role, you:
- possess strong communication abilities and can work autonomously and collaboratively.
- are familiar with procurement processes and stakeholder management. Familiarity with procurement of construction scopes, contracts and contract management is a plus.
- demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- have excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- have experience navigating a complex, international matrix organization.
