Dynamic CFO to help shape the financial path at an innovative Danish company

We are looking for our new Chief Financial Officer to help us take the financial function to the next level in a growing high-tech company with global operations. The position will be cross-functional, and you’ll get to know every inch of the company as you create budgets, ensure profitability, monitor system integration and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.

Key responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Provide the CEO and executive team with strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
• Analyze product profitability, customer segments, and market performance.
  
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Ensure compliance with international financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements across different regions.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess financial risks, implementing effective strategies to mitigate them.
  
• Collaborate with management to make informed decisions that enhance the organization’s financial health.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead a global finance team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  
• Develop and mentor finance professionals, fostering a high-performing and motivated team.
  
• Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  

Hello, is it you we’re looking for?
We are hoping to hear from that certain someone with a master’s degree in finance/accounting and proven experience as a CFO - or a similar executive financial leadership role - within a global organization (including subsidiaries).

Solid financial acumen and expertise in managing financial operations and people across different regions is also important for us as we are an international company operating in different time zones and cultures.

With your finely tuned analytical and problem-solving abilities you can also act as business partner to our operations management and provide insights and guidance to the entire global operation.

You have a strong track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that align with organizational goals, backed by in-depth knowledge of international financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.

Hopefully you also have significant experience in implementing ERP systems and overseeing other IT infrastructures along with a natural interest in how AI can enhance finance functions.

Finally, you are a native Danish speaker and fluent in English.
