As Lead Technology Architect you will join eID Solutions in Nets Nexi Group and take part in developing new innovative products/services to ensure the product portfolio for digital security solutions remains attractive to our existing and future customers. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the largest digital infrastructure products in Europe including MitID and NemLog-in.

You will be part of the architecture team on MitID, NemLogin and international e-identity solutions working closely together with highly specialized technology experts as well key business stakeholders and our customers.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Technical Leadership
  • Lead the architecture and further design of our eID platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Mentor and guide other architects and developers.
• Applied Cryptography and Security
  • Leverage your expertise in applied cryptography to enhance the security of our systems.
  • Evaluate cryptographic algorithms and protocols for eID authentication and data protection and how they can be embedded into our domain-specific protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging security threats.
• Problem Solving
  • Take the lead in deep-diving into complex code-level issues that are difficult to find: Performance bottlenecks, complicated system interactions or even compiler errors
  • Investigate infrastructure problems, including crashes, instability, network and database issues.
  • Be the go-to person when critical technical issues require it and figure out away to proceed - the “buck stops here.”
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Interface with stakeholders, including C-suite executives, customers, and partners.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear communication for non-technical audiences.
  • Influence decision-making by providing expert insights.
• Hands-On and Team-oriented Approach
  • Roll up your sleeves and get involved in solving real-world problems.
  • Write code, review pull requests, and contribute directly to the development process when needed
  • Engage very actively and hands-on on a daily basis with the team

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a lead architect in complex software projects.
• Strong background in applied cryptography and security
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot at various levels.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
