Core Responsibilities

As part of the Strategy & Transformation function, you will join our Strategy Partner Team of 7 colleagues. The role reports into the Vice President of Strategy & Transformation and is based in Billund, Denmark.

Specifically, you will:

  • Work closely with the COO and the Operations leadership team to drive their strategic agenda
  • Collaborate with the other Strategy Partners and across functions to drive critical projects, strategy formulation, and problem-solving
  • Ensure strategic initiatives progress and track well
  • Constructively challenge and provide sparring to senior leaders on strategic topics to improve decision making
  • Translate the Operations strategy into simple and clear communication for the COO to share with his senior leadership group and organisation
  • Support the COO in ensuring his leadership team meetings and processes are run well and driving effective and efficient decision making
  • Prepare materials on behalf of the COO for input and / or decision-making from the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors

Working for the COO, you will collaborate closely with his leadership team and broader organisation. You will help run Operations leadership team meetings and support the COO’s strategic agenda while also engaging with your peer Strategy Partners to drive cross functional collaboration and end-to-end thinking.

Do you have what it takes?

The successful candidate comes with a Masters’ degree in Economics, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, or a similar field combined with a minimum of 6 years professional experience. This includes:

  • Passion for Operations coupled with functional experience
  • Outstanding business partnering skills at an executive level and an ability to build a strong network within the organisation; some experience in management consulting or similar strategic, consultative role is preferred
  • Top-notch quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights, and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems
  • Time spent with an international company working with key stakeholders across different markets, preferably in a strategic capacity
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global colleagues including working with different cultures, in different time zones, and in different formats (online and offline)
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to structure documents in convincing storylines and presentations for executive level interaction as well as break down complexity and communicate key messages simply to a large organisation
  • A ‘can do’-attitude to ensure things are acted upon in a fast-paced environment
