Job Summary:
We are seeking a committed and experienced ServiceNow Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the transition and integration of ServiceNow capabilities. Your role will ensure that the ServiceNow platform operates optimally and is fully aligned with the evolving needs of our expanded business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Management: Oversee the administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, including user and group management, access controls, and system configurations.
- Customization & Configuration: Adapt and configure ServiceNow applications and modules to meet the specific requirements of the business processes.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks, ensuring the platform operates at peak efficiency.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ServiceNow platform, providing timely support to end-users, particularly in the context of new integrations and changes.
- Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute platform upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to services, with a focus on integrating new assets and capabilities.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all configurations, customizations, and workflows.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that support the evolving business landscape.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar role, preferably with experience in integration or transition projects.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow administration, including user management, access control, and system configurations. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, particularly in environments undergoing change.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of on-prem, cloud computing, and SaaS environments.
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and understandable manner.
