Student Assistant - Procurement

We are now looking for a Student Assistant – Procurement to help support the team with optimization and automation of various procurement processes.

What will you do?
As our new Student Assistant – Procurement you will support the creation and implementation of category management tools, sourcing and procurement processes. You will be assisting with building up key functional department documentation such as templates as well as updating existing documentation to align herewith.

Your main tasks include:

• Supporting team with internal spend analyses to evaluate and identify synergies, commercial opportunities and sourcing projects
• Supporting with internal communication plans, supplier mapping guidelines, procurement site and other frameworks to facilitate the Procurement transformation at Cadeler
• Assisting with the development and implementation of cost-based reduction strategies within specific categories or project scopes as required
• Involvement in and supporting on preparation for negotiations or sourcing exercises
• Conducting external research and analyzing market trends within relevant markets
• Supporting on contract mapping and implementation of procurement contract management
• On board of new supplier registration into Cadeler registered supplier base
• Supporting colleagues working in operations or technical fields with an effective supplier performance management model

We think you will be a good match if you:

• Currently undergoing a bachelor’s degree or recently begun a master’s degree within a relevant field
• Excellent IT skills and strong proficiency within the MS office package, specifically Excel
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Prior work experience is an advantage
