Your key tasks and responsibilities are:

• Develop and govern the architecture of the solution across all the layers in the architecture – application, software, technology, infrastructure, and deployment
• Engage with feature teams about architecture and design adoption
• Identify synergies and guard overall architecture principles
• Manage the balance between intentional architecture and emerging design
• Demo, document, and communicate the results of your work
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

You’ll work with solution- and system architecture for one of Nexi group’s key strategic development initiatives on a leading tech platform based on microservices, APIs, DevOps, and containers. You will also support design- and develop mainframe architecture solutions to meet business requirements.

• Master’s degree in computer science or a career path that has provided you with similar capabilities
• At least 5 years of experience working with solution, system, or enterprise architecture as your main discipline
• Experience with full stack Java developer for cloud native applications
• Knowledge of REST API, Microservices, DevOps, Cryptography and distributed systems development
• Experience with agile development methods and tooling
• In-depth knowledge on Cards Domain, Transaction Life Cycle management, ISO 8583 message format
• Domain knowledge within the Financial Sector in general and especially cards processing, payments/tokenization
• Experience with mainframe modernization/migration projects, and proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL would be an additional advantage
