We are currently looking for a new Functional Consultant to join us on this journey and be a part of Global IT at Demant.

In the last years we have successfully been rolling out AX2012 R3 to our European Wholesale companies. We are now upgrading our template to D365&SCM (or as we call it – DFO) and continue the roll-out to the rest of the world. At the same time, the team is responsible for continuous improvement, support, and operations of the AX2012 solution for our European wholesale companies.

You will join a diverse team of developers, functional Consultants and application Consultants, with national backgrounds from Spain, Italy, Poland, India and Denmark, working closely across time zones.

You will be part of the DFO project where we are continuing using the global template that was built for AX2012. The team is located at the headquarters in the Copenhagen area, and you will be part of a highly qualified and engaged team of professionals having passion for supporting and developing ERP solutions which are supporting our long-term ambition.

Be our trusted solution advisor
As Functional Consultant in Wholesale Solutions, you will build the bridge between line of business and the ERP systems. You will be part of the agile team that has already embarked on the D365F&SCM journey. You will guide our stakeholders in utilizing our ERP template, best-practice solutions and you will be leading initiatives to optimize business processes.

You will be a trusted colleague and solution advisor for our business stakeholders and your colleagues in support. In your role, you will be facilitating complex process and technical problem solving to enhance and ensure the optimal use of business applications.

You will primarily work within MS D365F&SCM Sales, Logistics, Procurement and Operation, and Finance. Furthermore, you will be focusing on solution usability, understanding the requirements, and delivering best in class solutions. You can generate new ideas and provide a good user experience. It is natural for you to understand and document business/user requirements including integration requirements cross ERP and several legacy systems and 3rd party solutions.

Below you will find your most important responsibilities:

• Gather features, user stories, and/or capabilities that address specific business needs to assure best in class development.
• Act as the change ambassador when working with system enhancements coming either from epics/strategic projects or features requests.
• Utilize standard D365F&SCM capabilities, making sure we get most value out of the standard application.
• Responsible for maintaining and enhancing our template.
• Drafting Functional Design Specifications (FDS) ensuring full coverage of the business process flows.
• Providing super user training.
• Participation in project activities contributing with business knowledge and application insights.
• Working with solutions, functional design, technical specifications, test scripts and training material.

Understand the needs of the business and the technical language
In order to be successful in the role you must be able to understand the different needs from the business and capable of speaking with our developers. This means that you are an agile team member who is interested in the technical aspects of the applications, but it is equally important that you thrive in being close to the business and that you see yourself as being the coordinating and planning force between various stakeholders from different parts of the organization as well as external vendors.

Having experience from an IT application environment (maybe within a wholesale company) will be an advantage.

Maybe you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree either from CBS or ITU with a focus on IT. Apart from that it´s important that you have some years of experience from a global IT enterprise environment.

When it comes to personal skills you have strong stakeholder management skills and focusing on the user experience and being able to put yourself in the user’s situation comes natural to you.

Finally, you are service-minded and communicate easily with colleagues at all levels.
