Solution Architect for Application development project
NNIT continues to grow rapidly and therefore we are looking for Solution Architects with a great passion for working with complex custom-built systems.

Right now we are hiring for an exciting project in the public sector, where we are developing, implementing and maintaining multiple systems. You will play a critical role in acquiring the customer’s domain knowledge and in brokering that towards the developer teams to build and maintain a continuous backlog and ensure that the developers never run out of work.

Your responsibilities as a Solution Architect
You will be part of a team with top professional colleagues who develop and maintain complex systems for our customers within NNIT’s strategic segments.

Together with other Business Architects, fellow Solution Architects and Program Manager you will meet with the customer on frequent basis to ensure domain knowledge acquisition through the maturing of user stories and you will be responsible for breaking down the user stories to product backlog items, which you will pass on to the SCRUM teams, thus acting as the bridge between the customer and the NNIT teams and other stakeholders. You must be good at prioritizing and having focus on the big picture. You will have a good technical knowledge and be able to help trouble shooting in case of incidents and the development of new features.

You will work alongside experienced NNIT colleagues and meeting customer requirements and who excel in driving the customer dialogue.

Your responsibilities
As a solution architect, you will handle customer contact professionally and secure quality solutions together with your team. Your tasks include:

• Having the overall technical responsibility for (parts of) the technical designs. Ensuring that both functional and non-functional requirements are included in the solution design
• Analyzing, documenting, and clarifying our customers’ business objectives to design viable technical solutions
• Set direction for the system developers by brokering the technical designs and engaging in dialogue with the teams to ensure that specifications are met
• Identifying technical risks inherent in the solutions against the underlying business requirements
• Working closely with your colleagues as well as internal stakeholders to guarantee the quality of deliverables for our costumers
• Driving/contributing to communities of practice and knowledge sharing between projects
• Assist on Service requests with technical designs and estimates

You are a team player and you and your work meets high requirements in quality, best practice and documentation. You thrive in working closely with the customers and you take ownership of the product we deliver to the customer.

On this project you will work with colleagues from Denmark and Philipines so intercultural work experience is an advantage.

Your qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, a comparable degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
• Min. 5 years of professional experience in the field of IT architecture within Microsoft solutions
• Excellent consulting mind-set coupled with the ability to develop the right solutions by exercising your drive for results
• Experience with handling customer interaction in a professional way with great respect for the customer’s requirements
• Experience with IT in the Public sector and tender writing
• Fluent in Danish in both speech and writing.

You can work both in a team as well as independently and you engage in knowledge sharing with your colleagues. You are good at explaining complex issues in a simple way and you find gratification in helping your colleagues to shine, because you know that a strong performance requires the engagement of the entire team.

You communicate with our international colleagues as well as our Danish customers. Therefore, it is important that you have excellent Danish and English skills in both speech and writing.
