We are currently seeking a talented Principal Engineer with web domain expertise to join our Operator Web team. This is a unique opportunity to shape our overall technical design, with a particular focus on our front-end stack!

Make Video Management System Operators Successful
You will work on the next Operator Web Platform, a key part of our major product and platform revolution. As we are in the early design phase, you will play a crucial role in making decisions that enable us to deliver consumer-grade experiences to our users.

Join the Operator Experience Unit
You will be part of the Operator Experience unit, consisting of four product teams with highly experienced engineers. Our teams are empowered to make decisions within their areas of responsibility, offering ample opportunities for influence, collaboration and individual development.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Design and build cutting-edge, data-driven video software solutions.
• Lead front-end design and development - your expertise and insights shape the innovative design of our platform.
• Ensure technical cooperation within and across teams.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient, and secure code using best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to operations and activities.
• Coach and mentor engineers to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.
• Help ensure we keep the lights on while we build the future together

Your Technical Toolkit:

• Extensive software development experience, including 10+ years of experience in web application development (preferably in product companies).
• Deep understanding of modern large-scale web application architecture, good API design patterns, design systems and micro frontends
• Deep understanding of the foundations of web technologies, including how browsers, JavaScript, and frameworks work under the hood. Experience with React (or another equivalent) is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and command of the English language.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a team setting.
