Do you have a great interest in supply chain and optimizing best practice in a global setting? Would you like to contribute to our sustainable energy solutions? We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about Supply Chain and work experience within the field to join our Global Planning team.Vestas Technology & Operations > Supply Chain > Global Planning Blades & Assembly
Be part of highly dedicated supply chain planning team, that aim at optimizing the supply chain by optimizing capacity and delivering projects at lowest landed costs. The department consists of 9 employees responsible for the global planning of production and deliveries in Vestas and running the master plans for Vestas factories as well as external factories. You will work in a global environment with interfaces with the regional planning teams in APAC, EMEA and NCSA as well as Global Functions as Procurement, Manufacturing and Power Solution.

Responsibilities

  • Run various supply chain scenarios balancing capacity and demand including financial impact of costs and inventory
  • Create overviews for management decision being able to build material for use in all levels of Vestas
  • Align with master plans on longer term together with key stakeholders in respect of demand and capacity
  • Coordinate and communicate the master plans with S&OP, Production Segment, Global Procurement, Key suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Follow up on performance on the plan execution and maintaining overview of risk and opportunities
  • Secure continuous optimization of planning processes, tools

Qualifications

  • We imagine that you have a master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Development Engineering or similar, Moreover, we value the following qualifications:
  • Experience in working with complex supply chains in a global environment with many balls in the air being able to adapt to many changes
  • Good understanding supply chain impact on financial parameters
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral)
  • High level of experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Competencies

  • You have great analytical skills
  • Good financial understanding of supply chain issues and tradeoffs
  • Great communication skills (both oral and written) and should be comfortable presenting to all levels within the organization
  • You are self-motivated
  • You know how to manage your stakeholders efficiently at all levels by building and maintaining relations
  • You are able to keep the overall perspective in time-sensitive settings and have a pragmatic approach to complex situations
  • You are mainly team oriented, but still able to demonstrate enthusiasm for taking on responsibility and achieving results
