Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for a new and exciting opportunity? If so, then Vestas may have the opportunity for you! We are looking for a Global Strategic Purchaser to join our Global Service Procurement team.

Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Procurement > Service Material Procurement
You will become part of a creative global procurement team covering electricals components for the Vestas Service Business globally. We pride ourselves on treating each other with respect and supporting each other to stay focused, committed, and motivated at all times. You will be reporting to the Procurement Manager of electrical components for service business in Vestas, located in Aarhus, Denmark

Responsibilities
Your everyday activities will be characterized by high speed and the requirement to engage in, direct and prioritize between multiple critical projects. Overall expected deliverables include:

• Participate in strategy and roadmap development for the transformer and switchgear commodity
• Drive and lead cross-functional projects within transformer and switchgear
• Global lead on annual negotiations, supply base and supply chain optimization
• Build a close relationship with key suppliers in the commodity and continue to deliver value through long term supplier account management and partnerships
• Take full responsibility to drive and coordinate E2E optimization projects
• Secure service requirements within transformer and switchgear is part of module teams
• Work closely with the matrix regional organization on strategy execution

Qualifications

• 2,5+ years of experience with strategic procurement
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
• Experience with handling large yearly procurement budgets
• Advanced IT skills (proficient with Microsoft Office Package, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
• We welcome experience within the wind industry
• Fluency in English
