The department
Welltec ME required an accountant to help the Finance Team in Qatar. The department is small-scale, with regional and international collaboration in a diverse environment.

The position
To cover up the gap, support and further strengthen the company’s financial responsibilities in Qatar, we are looking for a highly motivated Accountant.

Key responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Day-to-Day Transactions
  • Can manage the revenue invoices, and their accruals and follow up with clients for payments
  • Submission of WHT, and VAT and assist in submitting CIT, preferably having sound knowledge of Transfer Pricing
  • Responsible for handing Journal vouchers of prepayments, accruals, provisions, and refundable advances
  • Handling and book-keeping of payroll transactions and maintaining Employees' accounts
  • Responsible for making all bank payments/transfers, Bank reconciliation, etc
  • Assist with administrative activities

The candidate
The profile we are looking for:

  • Minimum three years experience in the same field
  • Hands-on experience using Accounting/ERP software and Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience in Microsoft NAV is an advantage
  • Graduate in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Experience in dealing with other ME entities like UAE, Oman, Qatar, and KSA is an advantage
