Senior IT / OT Security Support (m/f/d)

Can you provide fast and efficient IT support, and do you have experience with operational technology (OT)? Are you motivated by making a difference for your colleagues and the business, and do you want a varied everyday life with many different IT-related tasks as well as working with the latest technologies? Then you get the chance to enter into a strong collaboration with friendly and competent colleagues in the role of Senior IT / OT Security Support (m/f/d).

Your tasks

You will be part of the Manufacturing IT department – a team of 15 dedicated colleagues who are responsible for operating and developing IT in production across 16 factories in Europe. You will be responsible for supporting our production units on their IT needs and thereby ensuring optimal production capacity and minimizing downtime. Your everyday life will consist of tasks of various nature, including project-related work, configuration and installation of new IT / OT equipment, and quickly and efficiently solving breakdowns in case of a production stop.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Develop, support and participate in IT/OT Security actions to ensure production is protected and recovery activities are available, should the need arise.
• Guide Manufacturing site Superusers in the daily operation of IT equipment and IT/OT security measures.
• Support, prepare, configure and install new or replacement IT equipment related to Manufacturing IT needs – and collaborate with Unified Support about local tasks.
• Learn about future technology choice and solution design, to enable VELUX Manufacturing site to realize Production numbers, Quality, and HSE goals.
• Pick up incident and request tickets and engage in support and problems solving from ticket queue.
• Participate in and contribute to knowledge sharing in our team.
• Stay informed about the VELUX Group´s IT security instructions and procedures.

Your qualifications

We are looking for an experienced professional who is able to interact with everyone from your colleagues in production to IT specialists to decision-makers at a more strategic level. With your strong communication skills, you are able to convey IT technical knowledge to a non-IT technical audience and you are used to acting in a production environment.

Moreover, we expect you to have:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with IT support from a larger organization – preferably from a production environment.
• High knowledge of IT operating systems, PC’s, Printers, tablets, scanners and interfaces.
• High knowledge of IT/OT Security principles and practical procedures.
• Thorough understanding of IP switched network and VLAN, Firewalls and WIFI configurations.
• Strong communication skills, patience and ability to plan ahead to deliver solutions.
• Experience with engagement in project work with ambition to deliver high quality on time.
• Fluent English skills for communicating in our international team, additional language skills in Danish or German are beneficial for local communication.
