Join our product team if you love to design digital experiences for developers as well as rethinking the experience of customers’ entry point to Vestas’ digital ecosystem. We are seeking a Product Design Lead who is specialised where CX and software development meet.

It is Vestas’ vision to be the Global Leader of Sustainable Energy Solutions and in Vestas Digital Solutions we accelerate our efforts within digitalization. You will take part in this ambition along with designers from the CX & Design team and your product area.

Responsibilities
You will be influencing the value Vestas' customer-facing digital self-services delivers by bringing the customer perspective. In collaboration with the product manager and the lead engineer, your work will enable our customers to integrate Vestas’ data as part of their data-driven journey. Also, your work will enable internal teams at Vestas to become more efficient by providing a user management solution for customer facing solutions.

Qualifications
You qualify as a candidate for the Product Design Lead role if you:

  • Have 3+ years as Product Designer or Product Design Lead
  • Are accustomed to a product-led environment e.g., from SaaS businesses. Or you previously designed a user management, developer/API forum, or similar product with high complexity
  • Are accustomed to collaborating in a trio with the Product Manager and Lead Engineer making product decisions together
  • Figma is your go-to prototyping tool and you know of front-end colleagues' UI component library tools
  • Are fluent in English, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite
  • You want to live nearby our office in Aarhus, to be able to on a weekly basis, work at our Digital Hub in Aarhus

Competencies
We are looking for a Product Design Lead who has practical experience with:

  • Prototyping and testing of design experiments and solutions
  • Using UI design components whilst leveraging best practise
  • Analysing and leveraging quantitative data from product analytics and qualitative feedback, incl. customer journeys
  • Managing stakeholders by articulating your findings, design concepts, insight-driven rationale, and trade-offs in relation to challenging existing business rules
  • Uplifting key CX metrics such as adoption, CSAT, ease-of-use, accessibility, and customer effort
  • Objective-based goal setting (OKR’s)

This position is based in Aarhus, Denmark to ensure the benefits of collocating with the product team. Monthly travelling should be expected, primarily to gather with colleagues in the CX & Design team in Copenhagen and with the broader department, leadership and stakeholders.
