We’re looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Denmark and ensure further development and integration of all aspects of our health and safety practices.

Daily, you will:

  • Develop and maintain the H&S Management System per ISO 45001 and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and promote programs and campaigns to enhance the management system and integrate it throughout the organization.
  • Advocate a positive safety culture focused on learning rather than blame.
  • Investigate and address incidents, turning them into learning opportunities while maintaining safety performance.
  • Align with COWI International's initiatives and develop programs to ensure safety at operational sites.
  • Organize and assess H&S drills

The first step to success in this role is you be eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • 5 years of work experience in a similar role in a large-size company.
  • Experience with risk-based operations and balancing “work as described” with “work as is.”
  • Knowledge of H&S legislation and experience with ISO 45001, including change management.
  • Ability to work across borders, share knowledge, and build positive relationships and experience navigating a large, matrix-structured organization.
  • Comprehensive communication skills for interacting with management, project managers, and colleagues.
  • Excellent English skills oral and written
  • Broad experience in on-site or field engineering, training, and introductions with deep experience with ISO standards and their implementation.
