About the role

As an Equipment strategy enablement Manager at Maersk, you will play a key role in driving the successful execution of high-impact projects across global operations, technology, platforms, and finance. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This is a cross-functional leadership role, requiring close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, while managing risks and performance across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Ownership: Lead and own the implementation of key initiatives or projects across different regions and functions (operations, technology, platforms, finance).
  • Project Planning & Execution: Establish comprehensive project plans, set milestones, and create go/no-go stage gates. Ensure operational readiness and manage progress against timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Conduct stakeholder mapping, align expectations, and confirm agreements with both internal and external stakeholders. Provide consistent and clear visibility of project status.
  • Risk Management: Rigorously manage project risks with aligned metrics, addressing challenges proactively to maintain timelines and meet business outcomes.
  • Roadblock Removal: Identify and resolve potential roadblocks and impediments to ensure timely project delivery and successful implementation.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with other workstream owners to ensure smooth collaboration and proactive delivery of project components.
  • Success Criteria & Adjustments: Establish and evaluate project success criteria, making necessary adjustments to timelines and solutions throughout the implementation process.
  • Project Closure & Portfolio Management: Successfully close projects based on mutually agreed criteria. Continue to own the portfolio of implemented products, measuring their performance over time.
  • Solution Design Collaboration: Participate in the solution design process, working alongside enablement strategy managers to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Methodology Improvement: Assist in refining and improving the implementation methodology, with a focus on project planning, stakeholder management, and execution excellence.

What are we looking for

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects or initiatives across multiple geographies and functions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, tech teams and other cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a focus on leading without authority.
  • Proactive problem-solving and strong communication skills.
  • Adept to the use of tech tools to track and measure the performance of implemented products or initiatives over time.
  • Experience in the Container equipment flows, logistics, supply chain, or technology industries is a plus.
