Job Description
Are you a student with an interest in game creation and an eagerness for hands-on, real world game development experience?
You will join LEGO Games as a student worker in Billund, Denmark where you will gain a combination of practical game experience and learning opportunities.

Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with other team members to contribute to the concept, design, and development of new gaming experiences.

We are looking for 2 student workers with experience in Unity/ Unreal Engine/ UEFN to:

  • Assist in brainstorming, ideation, and creation of game ideas.
  • Working as part of a small team problem solving on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with the wider Game Mechanics team.
  • Participate in playtesting and provide constructive feedback to improve user experience and refine gameplay elements.

You must be studying in Denmark and be able to attend the LEGO Office in Billund at least once a week.

Do you have what it takes?
It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment as a student worker.

  • Bachelor’s degree or studying in higher education (any degree).
  • Passion for video games and an understanding of various game genres and mechanics.
  • Experience using Unity/ Unreal Engine/ UEFN.
  • Have fun working in a team and contributing to a playful team environment.
  • English at fluent level is required as this is the standard office language.
  • Experiences in game design in the form of a mod, game jam game, student / indie project, or level/maps a plus.
  • Interest in Minecraft, Roblox, Fortnite Creative etc.
