Business Application Specialist
At Falck, we are looking for a Business Application Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on supporting the Cornerstone LMS and Core HR modules, with the opportunity to expand your expertise as Falck transitions to Oracle as our future HRIS in the coming years.
As part of the core HRIS team within Global People & Culture, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including People & Culture, Digital Technology, and key business stakeholders, to ensure the smooth operation of Cornerstone.

About the job
Joining the HRIS team at Global People & Culture, your major responsibilities in Cornerstone will be:
- Global Bonus Process: Manage and configure all aspects of the Global Bonus Process in Cornerstone, ensuring accurate and timely implementation.
- Merit Increase Process: Support the Merit Increase Process, e.g. by providing data extracts from Cornerstone.
- Global Performance Review Process: Handle the configuration and system administration of the Falck’s Global Value Talk Process, facilitating effective performance discussions and evaluations.
- LMS Learning Assignments: Administer and manage Learning Management System (LMS) assignments, ensuring employees have access to necessary training and development resources.
- UI Optimization: Optimize the Cornerstone user interface where needed based on the latest updates.
- Data Cleaning and Reporting: Support data cleaning initiatives to maintain data integrity and accuracy. Fulfill various reporting needs by generating and analyzing reports to support decision-making processes.
- Liaison Role: Act as a primary contact point for Cornerstone LMS community, and external consultants. Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure seamless integration and support.
In addition to the above responsibilities in Cornerstone, other responsibilities will be:
- Project Engagement: Work with project team to transition from Cornerstone to Oracle, e.g. by participating in data migration activities.
- Learning Management: Work with project team to build and populate our future LMS.
About you Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Cornerstone systems administration, functional support, and enhancement development.
- Comfortable with system configuration, data migration, and governance of Cornerstone.
- Experience of collecting business requirements and translating them into system processes.
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required.
- Strong organizational and planning skills required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to changes and manage competing demands.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resource management, information technology or related areas of study is required.
Languages:
- Proficient Level of English (spoken & written)
Other:
- Permanent contract 37h/week
