Results-driven VP of Marketing to lead a high-impact team focused on driving sales and revenue growth
As the VP of Marketing, you will be a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our profitability goals for the upcoming year and sets the stage for growth thereafter.
With a primary focus on sales targets, customer acquisition, and revenue growth, you will lead a team of 10 marketing professionals and ensure our marketing efforts directly contribute to the company’s profitability and sales goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a data-driven environment and prioritizes measurable outcomes, while maintaining an understanding and interest of how brand and communication dynamics influence overall performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy, and monthly/quarterly/yearly plans focused on revenue generation and growth, ensuring alignment with commercial targets and overall profitability.
  • Lead targeted campaigns and activities to drive customer acquisition and optimize the marketing funnel for conversions, short and long term
  • Oversee and develop a high-performing marketing team, ensuring efforts are focused on measurable outcomes that contribute to revenue.
  • Act as a key leadership figure, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional development, and accountability within the team, while mentoring and empowering employees.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives.
  • Manage the marketing budget with a focus on ROI and report on key metrics to adjust tactics as needed for growth.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a VP of Marketing or similar senior marketing leadership, preferably from a SaaS company or from an industry with similar sales cycles /deal sizes (60-90 days sales cycle)
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, ARR growth strategies, and the dynamics of subscription-based business models.
  • Demonstrated success in driving profitability and scaling marketing efforts in a high-growth environment, preferably from an acquisition focused organization
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Experience from working in an international environment (preferably outside of the Nordics)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
