Your future team
You will become a part of R&D in ROCKWOOL working in the expert laboratory for acoustics and fire together with 12 close colleagues. We are a diverse team working as part of R&D projects where our role is to analyse and evaluate tests to develop new products or technologies.

We are proud of our new and modern acoustical laboratory, designed for its acoustic capabilities and safety-focused work procedures. Here, we assemble, work, test, and assess building solutions made of stone wool prioritizing safety and clean environment. What you will be doing
We have a brand new and state of the art acoustical lab, and your primary task will be to bring this facility forward becoming internationally recognized for its capabilities and expertise.
You will participate in development projects aiming at bringing new, green products and solutions to the market.
As an expert in your field, you will build a network inside ROCKWOOL and also internationally using your expertise to support the whole group.
On a daily level you will participate in planning of activities in the laboratory, ensuring high quality outcomes.
You will actively engage with developers, product managers and other piers, proposing acoustic testing services, expanding the lab’s portfolio, and developing new measurement capabilities

What you bring
- Master of science or PhD in acoustics with a strong foundation in building acoustics
- 5+ years of experience working in large and internationally oriented companies
- Deep understanding and broad experience with acoustical testing, data analysis, and product evaluation, particularly within development teams
- Comprehensive knowledge of the building industry sector, with an ability to align acoustical solutions with market needs
- Enjoying working as part of a project, contributing positively to multidisciplinary teams and encouraging a supportive, innovative work environment
- Proven track record in project management and client engagement skills, capable of effectively communicating complex technical concepts and driving project success
