Electrical Team Lead – Copenhagen - Unique Human Capital

As Electrical Team Lead at Ramboll, you will use your leadership skills, professional engineering background, and passion for sustainable energy to develop one of Denmark’s strongest technical environments in electrical solutions.

With direct report to the Head of Department, you will lead a team of approximately 11 engineers and join a department of 21 passionate and high-performing electrical engineers working predominantly within the global energy industry. The team mainly focuses on power plants, offshore wind, Power-t-X, and carbon capture and energy transition projects. The team covers all phases of project delivery, including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC, and follow-on engineering for international projects.

Your main tasks are:

• Lead and manage day-to-day activities in the team and provide visible, tangible leadership.
• Support employees in projects with coaching and guidance
• Lead the continuous competence development of employees in the team through our Performance and Development Process
• Participate in the recruitment process of new team employees.
• Contribute to the development of the department's and the discipline's business plans and their implementation in the department and teams.
• Develop and build relationships with new and existing clients.
• Develop and optimise the services and lead the process for optimising engineering solutions to meet current and future market and client demands.
• Act as an Electrical Lead Engineer and Project Manager on own projects
  

Your qualifications are extensive experience in electrical design, specifically within Power-to-X, power generation, offshore wind, or other related sectors. Your background includes several years of hands-on involvement in these areas, demonstrating a deep understanding of these fields' technical and operational challenges.

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

You are capable of conveying complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. You are highly organised, with a keen attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to navigate challenges with creativity and determination, and you are a natural leader who quickly gains trust and confidence with team members.

Travelling: Regular travel in DK and travel outside DK may occur. Many clients, projects, and co-workers are internationally based, but the meetings are primarily online.
