We are looking for a Senior Analyst to support us in Nordea’s Business Banking business area by bringing our data to life and creating value through insights.

We are currently looking for two candidates to this role, one temporary to cover a parental leave and one permanent position.

Welcome to the Commercial Insights team. We add value by creating insights and enabling data-driven decision making.

Our work impacts all levels of the organization from senior management to the frontline. You will join a team of several data scientists and IT developers.

It is key to the role that you are comfortable adding the business perspective to data analytics, since ’without business understanding, data is worthless. Ultimately, you will be key in strengthening our position as a trusted partner in analytics.

You’ll join a team with can-do attitude and a unique infrastructure to leverage into outstanding analytics with an aim to foster data-driven culture in Business Banking. The role is based in Copenhagen, Helsinki or Stockholm.

What you’ll be doing:

• Be responsible for data analytical tasks and projects that help identify business opportunities and customer needs
• Be a trusted sparring partner to business to ensure an understanding of customers, products, profitability drivers, etc.
• Visualize data in ways that makes it easy and engaging to utilize for end-users
• Handle and maintain data pipelines as part of making analytics available to our end-users

Your experience and background:

• You must have strong skills in Python and SQL
• Ideally, also familiar with Airflow and Plotly Dash
• You have experience of supporting business with actionable insights and analytics
• Experience with B2B marketing or sales is meriting
• Knowledge of (corporate) banking is meriting (e.g. frontline, credit or finance perspective)
• You are fluent in English
