Join us as our new Associate Category Manager for Novonesis Direct Procurement Contract Manufacturing Europe
Do you want to be part of a global organization transforming strategic sourcing to the next level? Are you passionate about sustainability and category management? Do you want to be responsible for proactive and intensive stakeholder and vendor engagement with a regional responsibility. Then you may be our new colleague in Direct Procurement. We are looking for three new Associated Category Managers for our category: Contract Manufacturing (CMO).

Direct Procurement Europe is part of the Global Procurement organization, part of Operation organization. In Direct Procurement, we enable growth for Novonesis via close collaboration throughout the supply chain and vendors. Balancing value creation, cost, sustainability, and risk - for the better of Novonesis.

We are closely linked to our Global Direct Procurement organization responsible for all raw materials for production, utilities, CMO and insourced materials. CMO is a strategic area for Novonesis, and the CMO area across Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement is taking a new position and transformation to enable Novonesis future growth.

Direct Procurement Europe is by far the largest region, and we have a regional responsibility in a global context. Our team of 7 highly skilled and dedicated professionals supports our 6 different categories in a dedicated global category team. The global category team are procurement colleagues located at Novonesis key production sites in all regions of the world including Europe, Asia Pacific, India, North Americas, and South Americas.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Support Global Category Manager in developing, structure and implement comprehensive category strategy
• Execute on activities and projects within category and region
• Drive and foster strong collaboration with external- & internal stakeholders, including operations, quality, sustainability, finance, and legal teams
• Independently drive negotiations and contract finalization
• Delivering on global business targets and KPIs supporting the overall strategy and roadmap of Direct Procurement and Novonesis

To succeed you must hold:
0-2 years of contract, strategic sourcing and/or procurement experience, combined with relevant education at master level within Law, Business, Economic, Supply Chain, or relevant.

• Knowledge within Biotech, Food, Life Science, or similar regulated industries
• Have a holistic, innovative, and strategic mind-set
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal- & external stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a complex, changing, and global environment
