We are looking for a Commercial Excellence Manager for institutional customers with an analytical mind and commercial mindset, who is enthusiastic about driving impact and wants to join us in changing dentistry at our global Headquarters in Copenhagen, right next to Kongens Nytorv.

About the position
The main responsibility of the Commercial Excellence Manager will be to focus on institutional customers and enable our sales regions to improve sales and market share gains in the segment.

Institutional customers encompass a diverse range of entities such as Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), universities, and hospitals. These customers require tailored solutions that cater to enterprise-like setups, distinct from those offered to individual dentists or clinics.

In this role, you will navigate and manage a complex network of stakeholders, balancing operational, technical, and commercial priorities. As the institutional customer segment grows in strategic importance for 3Shape, you will play a critical role in shaping both the strategic and commercial direction of the company, not only within Commercial Excellence but across the organization. Your work will aid to transform how we engage with institutional customers and strengthen our commercial offerings.

To excel in this role, you must have proven commercial experience coupled with the ability to execute operationally at a high level, including diving into details when necessary. Furthermore, the Commercial Excellence Manager for institutional customers will be responsible for leading projects, ensuring alignment among stakeholders, and maintaining a clear focus on delivering results.

Your Responsibilities
As Commercial Excellence Manager for institutional customers, you will be given the following responsibilities:

  • Be part of establishing the strategic direction for the institutional segment, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Steer the development of commercial projects and programs across the sales organization.
  • Build the foundation for a more professional engagement with our institutional customers.
  • Ensure project scope, purpose, deliverables and success criteria(s)are always clearly defined and aligned amongst all stakeholders.
  • Develop a commercial toolbox and ensure implementation in the sales regions.

Your skills
We are looking for a person that holds the ability to develop a good working relationship with key stakeholders across the organisation.

  • Ideal candidate has minimum 3 years of experience from either management consulting or a corporate commercial excellence role, ideally also experience from a commercial role
  • Demonstrated ability to implement initiatives at both strategic and detailed levels
  • Comprehensive analytical skills and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Master/MBA is a minimum requirement
