Team and Role
Terma produces mission-critical equipment where quality and reliability are of utmost importance. As part of the independent Q-function you will take a key role by preventing defects, ensuring compliance, and supporting on-time delivery of high reliability products to our customers.
You will be part of our global QHSE function where we are 90 dedicated colleagues, and in your daily job you will be part of a Quality Assurance (QA) team of 6, in close contact to various parts of the organization in Lystrup.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Very close cooperation with Space Product Assurance Managers (PA)
- Quality assurance responsibility for Space Systems, primarily Star-trackers
- Close cooperation with production, test department, PTA, project management and R&D, where you will help find pragmatic solutions while ensuring quality and compliance to our Quality Management System and other certifications that constitute our license to operate.
- Ensure professional handling of non-conformances.
- Drive structured problem-solving methodology, incl. in-depth Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, PFMEA, check for effectiveness and 8D as applicable.
- Involvement in internal/external audit processes and drive mini audits in production.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining QA processes.
- Support and deploy strategic & continuous improvement projects.
We are on a growth journey and it’s important to onboard our new QA engineer ASAP to support our production in continued high productivity & -customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
We expect you to fulfil the following requirements, but as a highly specialized industry, we are prepared to invest time and efforts in the right candidate, to bring you up to speed and build up specialized competences that will enable you to be a success in your new job.
Requirements:
- Educational background could be electrical engineering or maybe you are a highly skilled technician.
- Minimum 3 years practice in electronics industry with PCBA production.
- Fluent in English, spoken as well as written.
Experience within any of the following, will be considered a plus (nice to have):
- Experience from Space electronics
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system for the aerospace industry, ECCS standards for European Cooperation for Space Standardization and IPC-A-610: The Standard for Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
- Qualifications in Quality Management, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma
- Auditing experience
- Fluent in Danish
