Senior Embedded Software/Embedded Linux Engineer

We are expanding and seeking a skilled software engineer with solid experience in Embedded Linux development and who is passionate about IoT solutions and developing IoT devices for the care, energy, and security markets to join our team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing new solutions and products, focusing on customer experience, sensor data, radio communication, low-power micro controllers, and optimal RF performance.

Join our Engineering team
The Firmware development team participates in the product development from the project concept phase through the feasibility phase and development, test, and approval phases until the first product leaves the production line.

About the position
As an engineer in the Firmware development team, you will collaborate closely with team members and other teams to provide timely solutions and deliveries in projects. You work together in an agile setting where you and your team set the structure for sharing the tasks.

You and your team are responsible for technologies ranging from embedded ARM Cortex-M processors to Linux/Build-root-based Cortex-A processors.

As Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, contributing to the ongoing success of our IoT solutions. You will develop a wide array of solutions, focusing on adding new functionalities to our different embedded platforms and introducing new technologies to our evolving product portfolio.

This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you and your team will execute and document design decisions and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of different embedded SW for our IoT platforms
• Technical specification and technical follow-up with the other teams to identify and break down work tasks
• Document design decisions and solutions
• Test and validate new software and products for the full value chain.

About you
We are looking for a talented embedded software engineer with the following qualifications:

• Senior profile with solid experience in software development in C for embedded systems
• Worked with IoT technologies, such as Zigbee, Bluetooth/BLE, Wireless M-Bus, WiFi, and LTE
• Solid experience designing embedded time-critical systems
• Experience with low-power applications and different radio communication protocols
• Takes end-to-end ownership of design and solutions
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality
