Senior Portfolio Manager, Emerging Market Debt Hard Currency (EMD)
Danske Bank Asset Management has a unique job opening for an experienced EMD Portfolio Manager to join our team as a Senior Portfolio Manager as we grow our Emerging Market Debt Hard Currency strategy.
In joining Danske Bank Asset Management (DBAM), you would be joining one of the largest asset managers in the Nordics. We are an international asset manager with more than EUR 100bn in assets under management for Nordic and International institutional clients, as well as private banking and retail clients from the Nordic region.
The EMD portfolio management team is based in Copenhagen and consists currently of four portfolio managers. The team is supported by the broader Asset Management platform and its many great employees.
Your role and contribution
Together with the rest of the team, you would contribute to our flagship EMD HC strategy by performing:
- Portfolio Management of existing EMD Hard Currency funds
- Sovereign analysis
- Investment idea generation
- Securities selection and portfolio construction
- Client meetings with both existing and prospector investors
As part of the EMD team, you would have a direct impact on investment decisions.
Who is our new colleague?
We are looking for an experienced EMD portfolio manager with strong analytical and quantitative skills, a solid understanding of the specificities of the emerging market debt asset class, and a commercial mindset who is keen to support our existing clients and help grow our asset base.
Your experience could come from a role within a pension fund, asset manager, research firm, or the sell-side (bank). The ideal academic background would consist of a degree in economics, finance, or investment analysis.
