HAMLET PROTEIN’s Category Manager Monogastrics is a global position, and you will play a pivotal role in developing our future business. Your role is to drive sustainable growth of our protein and fiber product portfolio in swine, poultry aqua and pets.

Reporting directly to our Marketing Director your key responsibilities will be:

• Developing Category strategies for swine and poultry
• Global positioning of our protein and fiber product portfolio for these species
• Contributing to regional / local go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with sales.
• Contributing to new product / concept development for the species of interest
• Developing technical and commercial contents such as marketing material and articles
• Training sales managers and distributors
• Delivering oral presentations at customer seminars and scientific events
• Delivering expertise in joint visits to key accounts and partners
• Market intelligence
• Defining needed trials and their objective to develop sales argumentation
• Product portfolio datasheets

Required skills and qualifications:

• Master’s degree and preferably PhD within agriculture, veterinary science or animal nutrition
• Minimum 5 years of experience from a similar position or potentially from a product manager position
• Experience within product application and feed formulation
• Strong technical understanding of animal nutrition and production
• Strong commercial attitude and result focused mindset
• Excellence written and oral communication and networking skills
• Genuine team player and believer in the importance of stake holder management and sharing knowledge
• Fluent in English (additional language skills welcome)
• Willing to travel approximately 30 % of the time
• Responsive, pro-active and decisive behavior
• Forward thinking with analytical problem solver approach
