Welcome to our Pilot Factory
The factory is a part of R&D and an important innovation function in terms of new product development and producing products for the markets within chronic care and advanced wound care.
You will lead 6 QA specialists as well as a team manager of our QA Life Cycle Lab. The team is a good mix of different seniorities, skills, and backgrounds, and together they ensure quality and compliance in both our ongoing production but also our innovation projects.
“In the team, we keep an open dialogue. And we’re really good at adding a laugh or a social activity to our daily work to have some fun,” explains Troels.
You will join the Global Quality Innovation value stream leadership team along with 3 other colleagues overseeing the compliance and quality of Coloplast innovation activities within Chronic and Advanced Wound Care.
Furthermore, you will join the Pilot Factory leadership team alongside 3 other colleagues, and together you will keep the production running and set the direction going forward in the Pilot factory.
Manager, sounding board and compliance responsible
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your team. Your team enjoys a good deal of autonomy, so your role is to empower your team but more importantly to act as a sounding board when new situations arise. And new situations will arise in an innovation environment such as ours, where projects bring up new twists and turns on the road to new products.
Moreover, you will:
• Work with Global Quality on setting the global direction for quality within innovation
• Be the overall responsible for compliance within the Pilot factory
• Carry out quality management reviews 4 times a year, presenting to top management at both the Factory and Global Quality
• Host both internal and external audits
Experience with management systems within Quality
”You need to be comfortable in an environment where innovation makes things move fast and plans can change – which can impact quality and compliance. Here, you focus on facilitating dialogue and finding solutions,” says Troels.
You also need to be ready to work with multiple stakeholders – from the operator in the factory to top management in HQ, and also our global factories. Finally, we imagine that you:
• Are an engineer, a chemist or similar
• Have good experience with management systems within quality
• Have experience within medical device or pharma
• Have some management experience, perhaps as a team lead
• Are fluent in English
