Your challenges

As part of our Smart Product Technology (SPT) department, based in Østbirk, you will join a global team of specialists, technical leads, and developers working on a variety of R&D projects within VELUX’s digital system solutions. From edge computing to cloud-based solutions, this role provides a hands-on opportunity to contribute to innovative software development.

In this role, you'll collaborate within a Scrum team to develop best-in-class software solutions and gain practical experience in cloud technologies.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Coding and implementing high-quality software solutions.

• Coding and implementing automated testing for software solutions.

• Working with product owners and technical leads to support architecture design and documentation of the software solutions in the projects.

Your qualifications

You are excited about software development and eager to contribute to innovative, real-world projects. You're proactive, curious, and enjoy problem-solving both individually and collaboratively. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will help you grow in this role.

We imagine that you:

• Are in the final semester of a bachelor’s degree or the first year of a master’s in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.

• Have experience with unit testing and CI/CD processes.

• Are familiar with tools like Git, Docker, and Azure DevOps.

• Have experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or C#.
