Gubra is looking for a Financial Business Analyst – to join our Finance department

We are now looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to take our Finance team to the next level.As a Financial Analyst at Gubra, your focus will be on supporting our financial department on different analytic assignments and projects. Key responsibilities will be Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), leading the development of financial models, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Your primary tasks will be to:

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Analyse financial data to support financial strategies and operational goals and track performance metrics.
• Build, maintain, and improve data models, forecast models, and dashboards.
• ESG Data and Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Conduct profitability assessments at various levels to identify cost efficiencies, revenue growth opportunities, and margin improvement strategies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including variance analysis.
• Assist in Investor Relations activities incl. preparing presentations and performing peer group analyses

Relevant experience or education within preferably Finance or Business Management
You will unfold your skills as part of analytic work and projects together with your talented and award-winning colleagues in the Finance team. This also covers your close collaboration with the CFO and other important stakeholders that are eager to continuously improve our workflow.

Additionally, your resume comprises:

• Master/bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role.
• Strong financial modelling skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• ESG reporting and knowledge of sustainability metrics is preferable, but not required.
• Motivation to integrate AI into the workflow – AI experience is not required.
• Proven ability to conduct financial analysis and offer data-driven recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with advanced Excel BI functionality and languages (Power Query (M)).
• Experience with data analytics tools and languages (Python, R).
