What does your everyday working life look like?
In your role as Technical Offer and Order Specialist, you are responsible for the planning and implementation of global high-voltage cable projects.

This includes:

• Examination of customer inquiries regarding feasibility and independent development of the corresponding technical solution, including cost calculation and preparation of all necessary documents
• Project planning of high-voltage cable systems based on customer specifications and relevant standards
• Carrying out electrical, thermal and mechanical calculations with our programs
• Perform ampacity calculations with CYMCAP to define/verify conductor sizes
• Taking over project management in the event of an order with responsibility for compliance with quality, costs and deadlines
• Planning and organizing the construction site in accordance with contractual conditions and in compliance with all current regulations/guidelines regarding occupational safety and environmental protection
• Drafting and negotiating subcontractor contracts
• Organization and participation in factory inspections, construction site meetings and commissioning tests

• Bachelor's / master's degree in electrical engineering·
• Professional experience in project/construction site management is an advantage·

• Fluent English and German skills, both spoken and written.

Additionally, the following qualifications are desirable: ·

• Professional experience in project or construction site management is beneficial

• Support internal customers to optimize their sourcing requests based on Supply Chain Partner capabilities
• Review cable inquiries from customers and convert into cable sourcing request
• Perform technical clarifications with our Supply Chain Partners
• Perform short circuit calculations with the NKT calculation tool (Excel) to define the required wire screen/metal sheath size
• Perform ampacity calculations with CYMCAP to define/verify conductor sizes
• Perform drum length calculations with NKT drum length calculation tool (Excel)
• Check and accept technical data sheets from our Supply Chain Partners
• Check and record prequalification and type test coverage of the cables offered by our suppliers.
• Ensure that all documents which will be made available for external customers are in line with the NKT Supply Chain Partner marketing strategy
• Prepare Quality Control Plan and ITP together with our Supply Chain Partners to ensure
• Prepare technical part of the contract
• Review and accept Quality Records from suppliers
• Witness in-process, routine and sample tests
• Prepare type tests
• Identify and drive improvements

For this position you should have the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong focus on safety and quality
• High attention to details
• High grade of commitment, flexibility and teamwork
• Well-developed solution-oriented thinking
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Willingness to travel (approx 20 days/a domestic and 10days/a international)
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written)

Additionally, the following qualifications are desirable:
• Good German language skills (spoken and written)
