About the role:
We're on the lookout for a passionate and strategic Head of Business Insights to lead our data initiatives and shape our analytical vision within financial, commercial and operational performance. In this role, you'll be key to execute our data strategy, making sure we use data to guide business decisions, improve customer experiences, and drive growth.

As our new Head of Business Insights, you’ll report directly to our CFO, making you an essential pillar of our success. Your expertise will be pivotal in propelling AutoProff towards continuous growth and development.

Your areas of responsibility will cover the following areas:

• Define and implement the AutoProff Business insights roadmap focused on enhancing business performance, commercial performance, and understanding and analyzing operational performance
• Refine and develop Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and standardized analyses that facilitate informed decision-making across core business functions, including Finance
• Provide insights to guide and drive commercial decisions and optimization in collaboration with commercial teams
• Serve as a key member of the AutoProff Data Governance Council, collaborating to co-own the data strategy alongside the Product and Technology teams
• Maintain and develop our semantic layer on top of AutoProff data platform together with AutoProff Data Council
• Provide technical and strategic support for future platform integrations, including ERP and CRM systems
• Actively participates in our Data Analytics Guild, fostering collaboration and contributing to the collective expertise and growth of our data analytics community. Manage and develop a small team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

The need-to-have skills:

• Educational level on Master level within relevant field
• Have a natural curiosity in business optimization through data insight and gets motivated by shaping business decisions
• Ability to convert business needs into value creating insights for the business on operational, tactical and strategic level
• Ability to create transparency of development pipeline and drive prioritization
• Comfortable writing SQL scripts (especially within Athena or Presto), to extract the data that is required for reporting
• Knowledgeable about working with data in a cloud based data platfrom in AWS
• Good stakeholder Management skills and capable of understanding both technical and business needs
• Managerial skills or interest in becoming an excellent people manager
