Accountant

About the Position
We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Accountant, who can contribute to the high quality of the internal accounting processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic Finance department.

As an Accountant at Nordic Solar, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks in close collaboration with the other employees in the Finance team. You will report directly to the Head of Group Accounting, Kent Behrendt Søndergaard.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Accounting
• Electronic invoice handling
• VAT
• Month-end closing
• Balance reconciliations
• Take of in the annual audit

In addition to the above tasks, the accountant will handle creditor management, financial and debtor accounting as well as work with invoicing and VAT accounts. In the role, the candidate is also responsible for bank payments and travel settlements. Furthermore, the candidate will actively participate in the entire process of monthly and year-end financial closing, where the candidate will have their own portfolio of subsidiaries. The accountant is also expected to work with various ad-hoc tasks.

Significant growth potential in Finance department
The ideal candidate holds at least 3-5 years of relevant experience within accounting.

In this position, you must be able to work professionally in English, and you are expected to possess great IT skills within the office package, especially Excel, as well as financial systems, preferably Business Central. Danish is not a requirement but and advantage.

Curious and self-driven Accountant with a pro-active attitude

You have an open-minded problem-solving mindset and a pro-active attitude; you see opportunities rather than limitations.
