They are currently in need of a Key Account Manager, who can strengthen and develop sales within their technical solutions for industrial customers.
You will be selling high-end technology solutions and advise and guide customers in cooperation with technical specialists.
Driving innovation and building strong partnerships
There is a lot of freedom in the job, and you will schedule your own day with customer meetings, working from the office in Vallensbæk and working from home (typically fridays).
The customers are spread throughout the country; therefore, you will be on the road a lot. You will travel to Funen and Jutland a couple of times a month and stay for a few days at a time.
You will usually start by visiting the customer’s R&D department together with a technical product manager, from your team, to establish where you create value.
Then the Technical Product Manager will take over and work alongside their R&D team to ensure the proposed solutions are technically and commercially viable.
Once the technical aspects are verified and aligned with the customer’s needs and they are ready to move into production testing, you will start working on agreements and pricing.
Your primary responsibilities:
- Relationship-building sales of technical solutions to new and existing industrial customers in Denmark.
- Collaborate with technical product managers to ensure the right solutions are chosen and align with each customer’s needs.
- Make pricing agreements once the customer is ready to move into production phases, ensuring commercial terms make sense.
- Preparing sales forecasts
- Participate in regular catch-up meetings with your team and internal sales to review ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Use CRM as a natural tool in your daily work.
Get the best possible start
You will start with an onboarding period, where the Director of Sales, will take you under his wing and introduce you to the sales process and the culture. Furthermore, you will participate in their internal sales training in Vallensbæk and Sweden - where you also will have the opportunity to meet new colleagues from other countries.
Following your onboarding, you will start working on simpler projects and expand from there, with the support of your team, who are eager to share their expertise.
Your team
There are around 15 employees in Vallensbæk and three in the INDUSTRY team, which will be your closest colleagues (two Technical Product Managers and a Key account manager).
You will report to the Director of Sales.
You will thrive in the role as Key Account Manager if you:
- Are proactive and self-motivated
- Have a commercial mindset
- Are outgoing and like approaching new customers end develop long-term, trust-based relationships with existing customers
- Are willing to ask for help, when you need it
Professional qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with B2B sales – to both new and existing customers
- Commercial background
- Have a technical interest – enough to be able to see the possibilities at the customers, without being an expert
- The ability to evaluate technical solutions based on commercial viability
- Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken
